In Store Price and Payment Terms

Our prices advertised are in Canadian Dollars and do not include applicable sales taxes, shipping and handling. We accept payment types: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Canadian Travellers Cheques, Debit Card/Interac and Canadian Cash. At this time Watson’s fotosource does not accept Personal Cheques.

 

We endeavor to keep the web site 100% accurate however it is inevitable that errors may occur. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct it. Please be aware that some product may be limited to on-hand stock only.

Refunds and Exchanges

Watson’s fotosource has a 7 day refund or 14 day exchange policy. All items for Refund or Exchange must be complete (all packaging, manuals, warranty slips etc.) and must be in the same condition as it was sold. Any product not returned in new condition will be subject to a re-stocking fee.


We also request the receipt or invoice to be presented at the time of Refund or Exchange. Shipping, freight, and insurance charges will not be refunded, unless the return is a result of our error. Items not accepted for return include: Film, Batteries, Memory Cards and non-stocked Special Order Products. 

Price Protection

At Watson’s we strive to have the best possible competitive price. If you find a lower locally priced item within 14 days of purchase we will return you the difference. Price protection under $10 will be returned using the original method of payment. A difference more than $10 will be issued with a Watson’s fotosource Gift Card.

Shipping

Watson’s fotosource will advise you of the estimated shipping dates but cannot be responsible for delays in delivery. Cost and shipping will be shown on your receipt. It is recommended that customers inquire with Watson’s fotosource about delivery, pricing and insurance.

 

Upon delivery please inspect your merchandise promptly for contents and condition. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported to Watson’s fotosource within two (2) business days upon receipt date.

Warranties

Most items sold by Watson’s fotosource are covered by a Canadian manufacturer's or International warranty. The warranty does not cover damage to goods caused by mishandling, impact, water, sand, moisture, leakage of batteries or tampering.

 

We do, however, offer our customers the option to purchase our “Foto Care Protection Plan” also referred to as the No Fault Warranty, for cameras and lenses. The Foto Care Protection Plan may be purchased at the same time as the equipment purchase but must be purchased within 30 from the purchase date of the equipment to be covered under this additional protection. Please ask us for more information and a price confirmation.
The Foto Care Protection Plan covers 3 years and includes: parts, labour, impact damage, manufacturer defects, sand/grit damage, accidental and unintentional abuse, mechanical malfunctions, normal and abnormal wear and tear, spillage and lemon protection.
